For Legal Advisors
GTI Recruiting Solutions (GTI) recognizes that many employers will have specialists to advise them on immigration matters and, in many cases, to manage their end-to-end immigration requirements. The Tier 5 Intern scheme accommodates this role, allowing the specialist to act on behalf of their client in the process of obtaining a Certificate of Sponsorship.
The employer and GTI must enter into a contractual relationship to ensure that the Scheme's sponsorship rules are met, which means your client must sign the terms and conditions of the scheme. During the sponsorship period we will also need to check in with the employer and the intern to ensure that the rules of the Scheme are being met.
The Tier 5 Intern scheme is administered solely by GTI. The scheme is backed by the Department of Business Innovation and Skills (BIS). Penningtons Solicitors LLP acted as advisors to GTI in the development of the scheme and provide ad hoc legal advice to GTI. GTI is solely responsible for the scheme's day-to-day administration and only GTI has access to proprietary information provided by users of the scheme and those who advise them.
