The Tier5Intern programme is a Government Approved Exchange (GAE) scheme designed specifically to allow undergraduates and graduates from countries outside the EEA to gain experience working in UK industry. It also provides organisations having a base in England with the scope to deploy the brightest and best talent from overseas on key initiatives and to learn key skills they can take back to their home country.

The scheme is backed by the Department of Business Innovation and Skills (BIS), endorsed by UK Border Agency and administered by GTI Recruiting Solutions. GTI Recruiting Solutions is the over-arching sponsor and will issue a Certificate of Sponsorship to successful applicants.

Applications to the Tier5Intern programme are made via our on-line system. We will consider applications from all types of organisations for interns who must be based in England. The period of internship is limited to a maximum of 12 months. The intern must leave the UK at the end of their internship.
